David White, an Australian sound editor, sound designer, recordist and editor is best known for his role as the sound designer of the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road in which he won the Academy Award for Best Sound Editing with fellow sound editor Mark Mangini! White has made soundtracks for movies, TV and other media platforms for the better part of 30 Years with the same passion and drive as he had in the beginning of his career.
Starting out as the Head Engineer and Partner at Counterpoint Sound Studio in 1983 - 1987, White moved onto his work as a freelance sound engineer and has never looked back.
Along with the mass amounts of film and TV White has worked on including 'The Railway Man', 'Star Wars: The Padawan Menance", and the documentary "White Light", his work has covered designing and mixing commercials for TV and Radio, editing Dialogue, FX and Music. The definition of jack of all trades.
