We were very proud to present our Tier 4 Acting Students 'Actor as Creator' Projects on campus, an immersive theatre experience allowing students to claim their space as performing art professionals!
The Actor as Creator Project celebrates the creative capacity of our acting students. AFTT’s acting program has a strong emphasis on the student being able to produce their own work opportunities and to claim their space as independent and entrepreneurial performing arts professionals.
We encourage students to risk and stretch their potential as producers, writers, directors, designers and performance makers. The festival provides the opportunity for students to present experimental works, giving them a “safe space” to take bold, imaginative risks. The performances presented through this project are completely self created and produced by our Tier 4 actors!
We were lucky enough to have this year's Actor as Creator immersive theatre expereince on campus over two nights in early December. Showcasing the work of over 30 students and their original ideas made for a creative and imaginative event and we applaud all those involved in delivering such a successful event.
