AFTT students proudly present a collection of scenes from 'Women of Manhattan' by John Patrick Shanley & 'Speed the Plow' by David Mamet.
Our AFTT Acting Students are putting on a special performance called Know Thyself in the auditorium this June.
‘Women of Manhattan’ follows the lives of three inseparable women, Billie, Rhonda Louise & Judy, each at turning points in their lives. As they search for who they really are, they are confronted by truths about themselves, each other and the men in their lives. The ‘real’ Sex in the City.
‘Speed the Plow’ follows the appointment of Bobby Gould as the new Head of Production of a big Hollywood Studio. Only two days in the job, and he is at an impasse – does he support his old friend’s blockbuster motion picture proposal; or does he take a meaningful, existential book about the decay of the world to the head honcho? Money, ambition, betrayal & a woman…..
Director of Production: Winston Cooper
