Anton Chekhov's
PLAY WITHOUT A TITLE
A group of friends and creditors have gathered at the estate of Anna Petrovna to celebrate the end of the winter. The estate is to auctioned and this might be their last hurrah. The characters are all about twenty-seven. Most of them are in debt. Not surprisingly their youthful optimism has been replaced by ennui. While they are desperate to regain that sense of hope, they find themselves stuck in the consequences of their choices. Caught between conflicting impulses that lead to disruption or stasis.
