Offensive Material
The Australian Broadcasting Services Act 1992 sets out a procedure to be followed when material published on a web site is deemed offensive. Consistent with this, AFTT has a procedure for the removal of material found to be offensive by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).
Any complaints relating to material believed to be offensive by a user of this website may be directed to ACMA (telephone 1300 850 115; info@acma.gov.au), who if satisfied the material is offensive, will issue a Take-down Notice to AFTT.
Independently of the above process, any user of this website who encounters material that they regard as offensive is invited to bring it to the attention of the Web Content Manager by emailing info@aftt.edu.au. If it is agreed that the material is offensive, it will be removed.
